About

Freya Dalsjø is a Copenhagen based clothing and jewelry label.

We specialize in developing intricate craftsmanship, rooted in a respectful practice.

We work solely with textiles of natural fibers of the highest quality, such as wool, cashmere, silk, leather.

We work with textile leftovers from Italian or French luxury houses, or directly with a few Italian or Spanish suppliers; Colombo, Raphael, Taroni, Teseo and La Doma.

We develop our works at our Copenhagen based atelier and in collaboration with specialized top manufactures around the world.

Bespoke clothing

With our bespoke works we strive to create objects of high aesthetic value, develop distinct and intricate handcraft through reworking traditional high end textiles. We aim to create sculptural yet delicate works with intricate detailing. Our work is created by hand in our atelier in Copenhagen and are available only as bespoke - made to order works.

Jewelry

With our jewelry line we strive towards creating expressive directional jewellery in sterling silver and in 18 carat gold. Our jewellery is hand made in our atelier.

We welcome custom projects.

ABOUT

Freya studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp before establishing her namesake label in 2012.

Freya has exhibited her work at Copenhagen Contemporary, the National Museum of Denmark, the Danish Design Museum, the National Crafts Museum, New Delhi, in Shanghai and at Salone del Mobile, Milan, in collaboration with the Danish Arts Foundation.

Freya has received generous support from the Danish Arts Foundation and the Danish National Bank throughout her career and in 2018 Freya Dalsjø received the 3-year grant given by the Danish Arts Foundation. In 2021 Freya Dalsjø received "påskønnelseslegatet" by the Danish National Bank.

Karis Dalsjø, head of jewelry, has a bachelor in textile development and craftsmanship and a master in architecture. She joined the label in 2019 to start up the jewelry line.
